Aaron DeLine, PT | Rehab Director

Aaron DeLine, PT grew up in Lenawee County and then attended Grand Valley State University, graduating with a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy in 1997. He then practiced at Carter Rehab in Tecumseh for five years, followed by 3 years in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where he worked with the South Florida Spine Institute. Aaron has been Director at Carter Rehab in Adrian since 2004 and greatly enjoys working with all types of patients in his home community. Aaron is married with six rambunctious children! He also serves as a minister in Adrian.


Sofia Anthony, PT, DPT PWR!Moves Certified Therapist

Sofia Anthony, PT, DPT received her Physical Therapy Degree from Indore Institute of Medical Science in India and is also a Doctor of Physical Therapy from University of Michigan-Flint.

She has a previous experience of working in Acute, Intensive, In-Patient, Out-Patient, Geriatric and Community Care Settings. She has experience with hands on approach for Repetitive Strain injuries. Sofia has also worked in a School Setting for Children with Special Needs.

She has been a Licensed PT in the State of Michigan since 2008 and has joined Carter Rehabilitation Center-Adrian in 2009. She is very passionate about her profession and enjoys working with patients of all age group especially geriatrics.

She is certified in Parkinson's and evaluates and treat patients with Parkinson and other balance disorders through skill specific Parkinson Wellness Recovery program.

Sofia enjoys reading, cooking, gardening,listening to music and also spending time with her family.


Toni Garrison, PT

Toni Garrison, PT graduated from Grand Valley State University in 1995 with a Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy. She is a lifelong Lenawee County resident and has been working in outpatient orthopedics since her graduation. Toni treats all types of patients and has received advanced training in muscle energy techniques of the pelvis and spine, women’s health conditions, and vestibular rehabilitation. Toni works at both the Adrian and Tecumseh locations. When not at work, Toni enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 daughters along with working on her personal fitness goals.


Amanda Robinson, PTA, LMT

Amanda Robinson, PTA, LMT has been working at Carter Rehab Center of Adrian since 2005. She attended Owens Community College where she earned her degree and license as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Amanda has been practicing for 2 years, and is dual licensed in Ohio and Michigan. Amanda also attended Northwest Academy of Massotherapy where she attained her degree and became a licensed Massage Therapist in 2007.


Dianna Oates, LPTA, LSVT BIG Certified Clinician PWR!Moves Certified Therapist

Dianna Oates, LPTA, LSVT BIG Certified Clinician graduated from Kellogg Community College, Battle Creek, MI. With 30 years of experience, Dianna is certified in the LSVT BIG program which is a specialized program for those with neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s Disease. Dianna also serves as the facilitator for the Lenawee Parkinson Support Group which meets monthly at Carter Rehab Center of Adrian.

Dianna is a married, mother of three children, and grandmother of six of the cutest and smartest grandkids ever!


Josh Valdez, PTA

Josh Valdez, PTA started with Carter Rehabilitation & Aquatic Center as a Tech in Adrian. Josh was motivated to pursue a degree from Professional Skills Institute and has been a PTA since 2009. He considers rehabilitation exercise and post-surgical strengthening programs as his area of expertise.

Josh is a father of four children and stays busy competing in athletic events from 5k runs to Crossfit/Lifting Competitions.


Gino Cimaglia, PTA

Gino Cimaglia, PTA, CCI, BBA has been practicing Physical Therapy for 2 years. He graduated from Professional Skills Institute. Prior to that, Gino was a chef for 10 years and earned his bachelors from Cleary University in Ann Arbor. He has a daughter and 2 step sons. He grew up in Ypsilanti and went to Lincoln High School. Also, he is not Batman, but you’ll never find Gino and Batman in the same room at the same time.


Aubrey McMunn, PTA, Athletic Trainer

Aubrey McMunn, PTA is a Physical Therapy Assistant & Athletic Trainer. Aubrey graduated from Central Michigan University in 2008 with a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine & in 2011 from Kent State University with an Associate’s degree in Physical Therapy Assistant. She has previous experience as a high school athletic trainer for 4 years & has been a practicing PTA for 5 years. Aubrey enjoys working with orthopedic patients of all ages. Aubrey joined Carter Rehabilitation & Aquatic Center in 2014. Aubrey lives in Blissfield with her husband & daughter.


Andrea Bevan, PTA

Andrea Bevan, PTA Graduated from Professional Skills Institute and has been a PTA for over 2 years now. Andrea has been with the Carter family since 2008, and has found it to be a very rewarding place to work. Andrea enjoys working with all patient types, with a special interest in MET & Neuro. She is married with one beautiful baby boy. She and her husband enjoy traveling, and look forward to exploring more with her little one.

Robert Leffler, PT, MS | Rehab Director

Robert Leffler, PT, MS received his Master of Science in Physical Therapy in 1991 from Andrews University.

Bob has been working in Tecumseh, Michigan for APRN since his graduation. He has over 20 years of experience in orthopedics, sports medicine, geriatric care, manual therapy, aquatic therapy, bracing/orthotics, TMJ and vestibular/balance disorders. Bob is also a certified clinical instructor and certified in ALINE orthotics.

Bob takes a holistic approach with each patient, listening to their concerns and goals. He is very passionate in assisting patients to get back the maximum function they can.

Outside of work, Bob enjoys spending time with his church family and his wife and their three boys Mitch, Max and Luke. Bob also enjoys exercising and downhill skiing.


Penny Sanders, PT

Penny Sanders, PT is a 1986 graduate from the University of Michigan, Flint. She has worked at the University of Michigan Medical Center and other outpatient facilities.

Her clinical skills include manual therapy, myofascial release, and treatment of pediatric conditions and wound care. Penny is very passionate about the New Beginnings weight loss program that she began in September of 2011. Penny exhibits genuine care in listening and planning treatment to improve the quality of life for her patients.

When at home, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three sons John, Jack and Joshua, scrapbooking and fixing up their old farmhouse.


Laura R. Wright, OT

Laura R. Wright, OT is a 1995 graduate from the Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti. She has worked at Herrick Hospital in Tecumseh for 20 years, obtaining experience in a variety of practice settings. She continued in her education and skill set with the completion of Massage Therapy licensure in 2005, and obtained her masters in healthcare leadership at Siena Heights University in 2009.

Her clinical skills include manual therapy, myofascial release, holistic rehabilitation practice with a focus on functional independent living skills and prevention of injury. Laura believes in active lifestyles at all levels, healthy living habits, building skills to achieve personal goals and wellness for all individuals. She is active in her faith community and would like to be able to assist with disaster relief efforts in the future.

Her home life includes a wonderful husband of 37 years, 2 children and 6 grandchildren. It is a privilege and an honor to provide services to the people in the community.


Jessica Zychowicz, COTA/L

Jessica Zychowicz, COTA/L is a 2009 graduate of Owens Community College with an associates in applied science. She has 8 years of experience branching into outpatient, home health, acute, sub acute and skilled nursing. She is licensed in both Michigan and Ohio and has her Rock Tape certification along with continuing education in kinesiotaping.

In her leisure time, Jessica enjoys spending time with her daughter, family and friends. She has a passion for not only therapy, but the CrossFit, Stongwoman and general fitness community. When not occupied with work or school, she is participating at local and/or national strongwoman competitions.


Krista Kochendoerfer, PTA

Krista Kochendoerfer, PTA attended Professional Skills Institute where she obtained an Associate of Applied Science in Physical Therapy Assistant in 1994. Krista holds liscenses to practice in Michigan and Ohio.

The first five years of her career was with a company that had contracts in various settings, providing her with experience in skilled nursing, acute care and sub-acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, home health as well as outpatient. Krista found each setting to be very rewarding but began taking a special interest in outpatient care. In 2000 she joined Carter Rehab Center in Tecumseh. She takes pride in her work and loves to apply her knowledge and skills to improve patient’s quality of life and function. While Krista enjoys treating all diagnoses, she particularly enjoys treatment of shoulders and knees.

Krista is married to her husband Rob and they have two children, Alyssa and Jacob. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends when not working.


David Cubberly, PTA

David Cubberly, PTA received his PTA degree from Professional Skills Institute in Toledo, OH in 2008. Dave started working for APRN in 2006 at Carter Rehab in Tecumseh, MI prior to attending PTA school and has continued to work at Carter Rehab after attending PTA school.

Dave enjoys working in an outpatient setting and working in the community he lives in.

Outside of work he enjoys outdoor activities such as camping, hunting, and hiking especially in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Dave has a son, Devin who is 20 years old. In addition to working as a PTA, Dave is also a Realtor with Goedert Real Estate in Adrian.


Sarah Meyer, PTA

Sarah Meyer, PTA received her degree from Washtenaw Community College and has enjoyed working in the community of Tecumseh for Carter Rehabilitation and Aquatic Center since 2011.

While performing her clinical rotations, Sarah quickly discovered her passion for orthopedics and loves addressing skeletal alignment and muscle dysfunction, particularly related to the low back. Sarah is a Certified Clinical Instructor and enjoys helping students find and develop their own passion for the profession.

Outside of physical therapy, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband Chad, daughter Rylie and son Nathan. The family shares a passion for motor sports and the four of them compete in District 14 ATV Harescrambles during the summer.


Travis Sisty, PTA

Travis Sisty, PTA who recieved his Associates of Applied Science degree from Professional Skills Institute in Maumee, OH in 2016. While in school Travis attended clinical rotations at Carter Rehab in Adrian where he found that outpatient therapy settings seemed to suite his skills best. Travis has been working for Carter Rehab in Tecumseh since 2017.

Travis enjoys working with several different types of injuries and types of patients. He finds treating athletes as a favorite, as he found his path towards a career in Physical therapy after going through PT during high school sports.

Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his fiance, Sarah, who shares his interest in outdoor activities such as hunting and fishing. He also enjoys staying active exercising and participating in sports with friends.
